Sorry, fans of Emily Owens, M.D. The CW has called “code blue” on the medical soap, canceling it on November 28.

Susan Gittins, a Twitter user who covers productions filmed in Vancouver, tweeted that the show had been axed way back on November 14, saying, “Sad news today. Vancouver-shot #EmilyOwensMD cancelled. A charming show that got lost in [the] fall launch.” And at the time, The CW denied it. “It has not been shut down,” said exec Paul Hewitt. “If anyone had bothered to call me, I would have told them that.”

But fast forward two weeks, and the network decided to pull the plug on the show. The good news, though, is that all 13 episodes produced will air.
