Taylor Swift is the queen of breakup songs, but her new one, "Begin Again," is about starting a new romance. Of course, in true Taylor fashion, she first has to compare the boy to her ex, who just never understood her.

"Begin Again" is the second single off her upcoming album, Red, which is due October 22. It's a slower ballad, unlike her peppy first single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

According to RyanSeacrest.com, Taylor said "Begin Again" is about “When you’ve gotten through a really bad relationship and you finally dust yourself off and go on that first date, after a horrible breakup.”

Right now Taylor is in the throes of a very public new romance with Conor Kennedy. It's possible this song is inspired by him, but she's had enough first dates that she might just be going for something larger and more universal. Then again, the song references "a Wednesday in a cafe" as the start of her something new, so that sounds specific enough to maybe be from an actual experience.

Listen to the new song here. Love it? Ready to break up with it already?
