The Internet is once again abuzz with the latest rumors of a Friends reunion, but don't break out the orange couch yet.

While a story on a site called StarMedia started this round of the rumor mill, NBC sources confirm to E! Online that while they've talked about it, the rumors are not true — for now.

The silver lining: E! also reports that the idea has been "talked about"! So if you've been dreaming of the day that the Friends actually get back together, don't give up hope. Just take any reports with a grain of salt.

This isn't the first time that rumors of a reunion have had to be dispelled. Back in November, Matthew Perry had to set the record straight himself via Twitter after a fake promo image started making the rounds.

Back even farther in May of 2012, Lisa Kudrow responded to questions about a reunion similarly, if a little less snarkily: “I don't think it will ever happen whether any of us want it to happen or not,” Lisa told MSNBC. “I don't think any of us would do it unless [Friends co-creators] David Crane and Marta Kauffman wrote it.”

The bottom line? A Friends reunion is not completely out of the question, but don't hold your breath.
