Jason Sudeikis is the Tina Fey of the 2012 election. The Saturday Night Live comedian should send gift baskets to Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and Democratic incumbent vice-president Joe Biden 'cause he is killing both over-the-top impressions.

Last night, SNL did the inevitable VP debate spoof, with relative newbie Taran Killam (Mr. Cobie Smulders!) doing justice as earnest water-drinking athlete Paul Ryan, and Jason (now living with Olivia Wilde) doing his thing as the emotional Joe. Kate McKinnon, new to SNL, took on the role of moderator Martha Raddatz.

If you haven't seen it, give it a watch below — and look for the bonus cameo from a famous Olympian.

Do you think SNL was fair to both veep contenders? Some Entertainment Weekly commenters got into a left/right debate when someone complained that SNL was too soft on Joe Biden’s laugh and too hard on Paul Ryan. What did you think? Did you laugh out loud or was it not funny to you?
