The Silver Linings Playbook star — who is nominated for Best Actress at tonight's prestigious ceremony at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre — revealed she had a very stressful day before the event and admitted she couldn't wait to get to an after party so she could finally eat. The 22-year-old actress told Ryan Seacrest on E!'s Live From The Red Carpet. "Today was so stressful. There was everybody in, my family got ready at my house. I felt like Steve Martin in Father of the Bride with all the furniture being moved around my house."
Dressed in a stunning off-white strapless Dior Haute Couture gown, Jennifer admitted she didn't repeat her fattening pre-Oscars meal from last year, which was a Philly-cheese steak sandwich. She admitted, "I had no time to eat. I'm starving," adding that she couldn't wait to get to an after party because there was no food at the event. She panicked, "Oh no, this awards show is so long." Jennifer also opened up about her second Oscar nomination and insisted it hasn't really changed her career but that she will definitely work with the movie's director again. She revealed, "Not really, but I'll say yes to more David O Russell movies."
