How did Jessica Simpson drop an astonishing 60-pounds of baby weight in only four months? Turns out it was all thanks to smoothies, smoothies, and more smoothies. 

The new mom dropped her pregnancy pounds by following a super strict diet of low-fat smoothies, protein, and vegetables, TMZ reports.

Devised by Jess’s former private chef, the pop star’s diet plan kicked off with an intense 15-day smoothie diet. The first five days consisted of three smoothies per day with two healthy snacks, the next five days consisted of two smoothies per day with two snacks and one meal, and the last five days consisted of one smoothie per day with two snacks and two meals.

The plan also closely followed the basic Weight Watchers point system and included healthy items such as egg white omelets, chicken, chick peas, and shrimp skewers.

Looks like all that hard work paid off — but we still wouldn’t blame Jess if she promptly tossed her blender in the trash can after that half-month smoothie-a-thon.
