There's nothing like a good old-fashioned celebrity Twitter feud about politics.

In this corner is American Idol alum Clay Aiken, who appears to have unwittingly started the fuss with this Tuesday night tweet: "Playing drinking game with my brother now. We drink every time we see a black person on screen at the RNC convention. #soberasamormon."

In the other corner is John Rich, who won The Celebrity Apprentice the season before Clay Aiken was named runner-up. John actually grilled Clay on the show to see if he had what it took to win. (Apparently not, since Clay lost to Arsenio Hall.)

John responded to Clay’s tweet, copying fellow country singer Cowboy Troy, who is a self-described black conservative Republican: "@clayaiken:@cowboytroy We drink every time we see a black person at the RNC//CLAY! You should be ashamed for racist comments like THAT!WOW."

John continued with "I wonder how long it will be till @clayaiken takes that idiotic post down. Clay, you're better than that...I hope. Sincerely, JR." He later added, "And to finish it off, @clayaiken hashtags soberasamormon? I thought your charity was for inclusion, not EXCLUSION. What happened?"

Well, Clay's original post is still up at this point, and he responded to John's inclusion tweet with "My charity is. Why isn't your party? ;-)"

The feud actually seemed to get uglier away from the two stars as fans chimed in with their own comments, including one who wrote "@clayaiken raaaaaacist southern white guy #negrospotting." (Why is it that we can't all just get along?)

Do you agree with Clay or John … or neither?
