Justin Bieber may be in hot water in his native Canada — getting booed during a football game and dressing way down (overalls?!) in a meeting with the prime minister — but he draws the line at being blamed for anyone’s hearing loss.

According to TMZ, Justin's lawyers want Stacey Betts's $9.23 million lawsuit dismissed for lack of facts. She’s the lady who claimed her hearing was severely damaged at a 2010 concert when Justin "enticed the crowd" into a frenzy. TMZ quotes Justin's legal documents, which allege he couldn't have known "pointing to a crowd" would results in a "sound blast."

Plus, is he legally obligated to stop his fans from making noise? Isn't that the point of a teen hearthrob concert — for fans to scream so loud they lose their voices and can't hear for a few days? Oh, for the good old days when it was a badge of honor!
