Justin Timberlake is the latest "swatting" victim, as someone called the police on April 5 claiming falsely that there was violence being committed in his home, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement sources say that the caller claimed four black men were in JT's home and that two shots had been fired. The caller also claimed that a box with red blinking lights had been left behind.
The prank is referred to as "swatting" because a SWAT team is sent to the home, only to realize nothing is happening.
This week has seen a slew of celebrities get swatted, as Rihanna and Diddy had the same thing happen to them in the past few days.
A group of hackers who swiped financial info about celebrities recently has claimed to also be behind the latest string of swatting incidents.
We hope the police catch whoever is responsible, and perhaps the perpetrators will soon not be wearing a "suit and tie" but will be wearing an orange jumpsuit.
