We like to write about celebs who are just like us, but it’s nice when they take the time to bring joy to those who need it most. Last Saturday, pop star Katy Perry attended the Night of Too Many Stars benefit where she gave one of her biggest performances yet.

Katy performed her hit song “Firework” with Jodi DiPiazza, a young singer with autism. Jodi, 11, played the piano flawlessly throughout the duet, and their performance brought the audience and host Jon Stewart to tears.

This is the fourth biennial production of the Night of Too Many Stars. The program is held to fund autism programs across the country and is put together by Comedy Central and Jon Stewart’s Busboy Productions.

Katy was especially moved by the performance tweeting on Oct. 14, “I will never forget last night. It was the most important moment thus far of what I do.” And yesterday Katy followed up tweeting, “Jodi is my firework.”

We dare you to watch this video and try to hold the tears back!
