Keira Knightley truly exposes herself in the December 2012 issue of Allure. As the cover girl, Keira posed for famed photographer Mario Testino with no bra, no underwear, and no worries.

With just a cropped black jacket over her shoulders and slim black pants unzipped dangerously low, Keira appears to be perfectly comfortable with her body image these days. But that wasn’t always the case. When Keira’s star first rose, around the time of the first Pirates of the Caribbean in 2003, much of the attention she got was directed at her gamine frame.

“The anorexic stuff — all of that — it’s always going to have an impact,” she tells Allure. “I think it did hit [me] pretty hard. Because you go, ‘Oh, maybe that’s right!’ I knew I wasn’t anorexic, but maybe my body is somehow not right. Or my face is not right. Or the way I speak is not right.”

It’s always nice to be reminded that, even though actresses like Keira can appear so impossibly gorgeous on the cover of a magazine like this, their inner monologues sound an awful lot like ours. The reality check is appreciated!
