Celebrities: They're just like us! Except when the celebrity is Kirsten Dunst and she wants to ride the elevator.
According to Page Six, the riffraff (aka hotel guests) at L.A.'s Chateau Marmont were turned away from the elevator because a VIP was using it as a private means of transport. “[Hotel staff] said Kirsten Dunst was going up and down," a spy reported. "They said nobody else could enter and asked other guests to take the stairs.”
Say what?! We have it on good authority that celebrities do not have squatting rights in our nation's elevators. Well, maybe if you're Lady Gaga. We'd take the stairs for her.
To be fair, Page Six did point out that a number of other high-profile celebs were staying at the hotel, and Kirsten's name could have been used as a way to distract attention from the other stars holed up at Chateau Marmont.
But, for all we know, Kirsten could have been rehearsing scenes for imaginary film Jumanji 2: Hotel Havoc — very important work that demands privacy.
