Kristin Cavallari claims she's not as wild as we've all been led to believe.

The star of Laguna Beach and The Hills tells E! that her Hills co-stars were bribed to make up stories about her having a drug problem, according to Us Weekly.

"I had two lives," she says. "I had the public Kristin, and then I had the real me."

Kristin  who welcomed son Camden with Jay Cutler last year  says she's never had issues with substance abuse but that the show's other stars were encouraged to lie on camera and to the press about her having a drug problem.

"I felt so used," the former Dancing with the Stars contestant continues. "And I realized at that moment that I didn't matter. None of us mattered. It was all about ratings."

In fact, Kristin says one producer even tried to bribe her co-stars with $10,000 Birkin bags to tell fictitious stories about Kristin's supposedly wild partying ways. However, the Birkin-bag bribes were apparently not accepted.

Kristin adds that she didn't know what she was getting into when she signed up for Laguna Beach as a teenager.

"I was 16 when they first came," she says. "We were babies, and we didn't know what we were signing up for. They literally came in and just manipulated situations."

Wait  so reality TV producers aren't completely trustworthy? Who knew!
