Overblown as it may have been, Lindsay Lohan’s episode of exhaustion last week has labor organizations worried about the set of Lifetime’s Elizabeth Taylor biopic Liz & Dick.
According to The Wrap, the film has come under serious scrutiny by the labor groups International Alliance for Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) and SAG-AFTRA after receiving more than a few reports of exhaustion from both cast and crew members.
“The IATSE is on top of the situation on the set of Lifetime’s Liz and Dick. We have had union representatives on the set since last Friday and will continue to monitor the hours and working conditions there,” IATSE division director Mike Miller said. “We take very seriously the safety and wellbeing of our crews, and are dedicated to seeing that they are protected from hazardous working conditions.”
Last week, the Internet went into a tizzy after rumors began to fly that LiLo was found unconscious in her hotel room. While the reports were quickly put to rest, the actress did reveal that she was exhausted after working a whopping 85 hours in only four days.
Only a day later, two other cast members reportedly left the set due to exhaustion as well.
