Lance Armstrong could probably use a free car from Oprah Winfrey, since he won't be doing much competitive biking in the near future.

The seven-time Tour de France winner  who recently had his titles stripped due to allegations that he used performance-enhancing drugs  has confessed to Oprah Winfrey that he in fact used steroids, reports the Associated Press.

The interview will air on Thursday, January 17, on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

Lance's sitdown with Oprah gets "emotional at times," according to a source.

Following the chat, Oprah tweeted that they spoke for a whopping two-and-a-half hours, and that Lance "came READY!"

Prior to the interview, Lance also dropped by the Livestrong Foundation  which he resigned from last year  and apologized to the staff, which left some employees in tears.

We're proud of Lance for finally coming clean. Then again, if anyone can get someone to bare their soul, it's Oprah.
