Update: Amid speculation that his health scare had gotten even scarier, Lil Wayne took to Twitter on Friday, March 15 to allay any panic. "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love," he wrote.
TMZ adds that sources at the hospital tell them the rapper "is still in critical condition in the ICU... but stabilizing."
Original story: Lil Wayne is facing dire health issues.
The rapper is in the ICU in critical condition after suffering another seizure, following multiple seizures on Tuesday, according to TMZ.
"We're told it doesn't look good," TMZ is reporting.
Lil Wayne had been released from the hospital on Wednesday, but he was found unconscious on the floor by his bodyguards just hours later.
The rapper was again rushed to the hospital, but this time he reportedly did not stabilize. He needed to be placed in restaints because he was shaking uncontrollably.
Lil Wayne is said to be "unstable," as he has been placed in an induced coma and is breathing through tubes.
Apparently, many rap artists are hurrying to the hospital to visit him, and there have been people crying at his bedside as he shakes uncontrollably.
TMZ's sources say that Lil Wayne reportedly went on a "sizzurp" binge following his release from the hospital on Wednesday.
Doctors allegedly found large amounts of codeine in his system, and sources say his stomach was pumped three times to flush out all the drugs.
This is very scary news, and we're wishing Lil Wayne all the best.
