Coveting Lindsay Lohan's often-bronzed complexion? (Yeah, we aren't either so much anymore.) Just know that her tan comes with a mighty price — and one that's getting the embattled starlet back in legal hot water yet again.
According to TMZ, Lindsay owes $40,000 to a Nevada tanning company, Tanning Vegas, for some seriously intensive (and seriously high-priced!) tanning sessions incurred between 2007 and 2009; a Nevada judge ordered her to pay the bill to the salon about nine months ago, but reportedly, Lindsay has failed to pay up. The salon's plan? To get the case moved to California, so Lindsay's assets within the state can be included in the judgment. (We're struggling to imagine anything more awful than losing your house to satisfy your tanning bill.)
Apparently, Tanning Vegas required interstate travel to give Linds her varying complexion, which sort of explains the size of the bill. Worse still? The owner, Lorit Simon, has already sued Lindsay once, alleging that Lindsay stole the company's spray tanning formula and sold it under her own label, Sevin Nyne.
Yikes. Hope Lindsay can sort this one out — and soon, before she loses her color!
