Oh sweet identical Disney twins, the epic saga of Lindsay Lohan continues to get longer than most actual epic sagas.
In the pending case of her probation violation and controversial clash with police officers after a car crash, which allegedly involved her lying to the police, prosecutors have offered a plea deal which would include 90 days of house arrest. But, according to TMZ, Lohan may reject the deal and take the case to trial.
While her industrious lawyer Mark Heller is in the process of negotiating with the prosecutors, TMZ writes that “sources connected with Lindsay are telling us LiLo is adamant — she will not accept ANY punishment.”
The window for a plea deal is fast closing, too, with a trial date set in the case for March 18. If the case does proceed to court, it certainly would not be Lindsay’s first, second, or even third rodeo. In 2012 alone, she got entangled with law enforcement a stunning five times. E! Online has put together a pretty intense retrospective of LiLo drama, which goes all the way back to 2007.
When will the Lohan trouble train finally run out of steam? Do you think she’ll ever straighten up? Sound off in the comments!
