Will Lindsay Lohan's bad luck with rehab programs finally come to an end?

The 26-year-old Just My Luck star is checking into a 90-day rehab stint on May 2, and it has taken quite some time for the star and her handlers to decide which rehab facility Lindsay should enter.

However, her father, Michael Lohan, is worried that Lindsay's interests are not being considered in choosing the rehab center, according to OK! Magazine.

"Lindsay wants to get treatment at The Lukens Institute in Palm Beach, Florida," he explains. "And it's the perfect facility for her to go to," given their "six hours of intensive one-on-one therapy a day, in addition to group and family therapy."

"Lukens Institute has one of the highest recovery rates in the country," Michael continues.

But Michael is concerned that Lindsay's team have ulterior motives in choosing a different facility.

"However, [people around Lindsay are] pushing for her to go into Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, basically, because they want to get a referral fee for placing her there, which I've heard they are willing to pay, whereas Lukens won't do that," Michael explains.

"It's easy to see whose best interests are at heart here, and, once again, they are not my daughter's," he adds.

The Mean Girls star has already been to rehab five times before, but Michael thinks this time will be the charm.

"She's committed to undergoing treatment, but it HAS to be the right kind," he says. "Lindsay wants to get her life back on track and manageable once again, but I'm concerned that's being hampered by some of the bad influences that are still around her."

Meanwhile, E! Online is reporting that Lindsay has in fact chosen Morningside Recovery and will check in there tomorrow. Uh-oh.

It's nice to hear that Michael is in his daughter's corner. Let's hope that this latest rehab attempt works - fingers crossed!
