Mandy Moore is returning to TV — just not on the show she was originally going to do.

Less than a week ago, Mandy pulled out of the ABC comedy pilot
Pulling. But never fear, 'cause Deadline says she'll play the female lead in the CBS/Warner Bros. drama pilot The Advocates.

The show will also star The O.C. alum and Southland star Ben McKenzie. According to Deadline, The Advocates is about a lawyer, Shannon Carter (Mandy), and an ex-con, Henry Bird (Ben), who team up as “victim advocates." They go to the edge of the law to right wrongs and fight for the underdog. According to TVLine, the show will also star The Shield’s CCH Pounder and NYPD Blue’s Esai Morales.

The big question now is, how is Ben going to do this and Southland

He tweeted, "To clarify: I am doing ‘Advocates’ in second position to #SouthLAnd If picked up for a sixth season, I am doing that. #SouthLAnd forever. … I'm honored to be a part of the best cop show on TV (IMHO). I hope and pray it returns. Nothing would make me happier. #SouthLAnd forever."
