Though they’re rumored to have started dating in April, Mary-Kate Olsen, 26, and boyfriend Olivier Sarkozy, 42, are reportedly taking a big step in their relationship: joint real estate. According to Page Six, MK’s businessman beau recently bought a townhouse for $6.25 million, though a source for New York Daily News claims MK isn’t moving in, she’s just keeping clothes there. (Basically, Sarkozy just bought his GF a really fancy closet.)
Yet there’s plenty of room for the petite Full House star. With five bedrooms and four bathrooms, Mary-Kate can play hide-and-seek with Olivier’s young daughter in 4,200 square feet of space. The home was built in 1854, and a real estate agent told Page Six the couple likes “that it is old.” (It was also the work of architect James Renwick, who’s, like, a totally important designer.)
We know her twin, Ashley, has retired from acting, but with such a historic residence and the intrigue surrounding her relationship with the former French president’s half-brother, Mary-Kate definitely deserves a role on BBC America’s new show Copper.
