Jaclyn Swedberg, age 21, was named Playboy's 2012 Playmate of the Year on Thursday.
The honor was bestowed upon her by 86-year-old Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, who is old enough to be her great-grandfather. Hef's 20-year-old son Cooper was also on hand to give the brunette beauty the award, Us Weekly said.
Jaclyn was said to be "overcome with a emotion and gratitude" and gave a speech. (Is there an award for Dirtiest Old Man of the Year? We know a great candidate...)
According to Us, Jaclyn graduated from Chino Hills High School in 2008 and was named Playboy's Miss April in 2011. "I think Jaclyn encompasses the true 'girl next door' persona and she'll do great representing the brand," Cooper told Us. "She exemplifies what we'll be looking for, for the next 60 years."
Sixty more years of this?! Do you think society will stand for 60 more years of Playmates of the Year or will we finally someday move past this? Or do you think Playboy go on and on for 160 more years?
