Is Michael Jordan giving new meaning to the phrase "Most Valuable Player"?
The NBA legend has been hit with a paternity lawsuit by a woman in Georgia who claims he is the father to her 16-year-old son, according to Fox News. Someone get Maury on the phone.
Pamela Smith wants MJ to take a paternity test to confirm he's the father of her son Taj, whom she says was born in June 1996.
Pamela claims she conceived the chid with Michael in '95 while he was still married to now-ex-wife Juanita Vanoy.
Pamela wants Michael to take a paternity test and pay child support. She also wants "Jordan" to become her son's legal last name.
Meanwhile, the teenager is convinced he is the star's son and his made YouTube and Twitter posts announcing it.
“The reason I am making this video is because I feel like you guys should know, and I feel like he should be more in my life about it," Taj says in a video about Michael Jordan.
This comes at a busy time for the former Bulls star, as he is set to marry fiancee Yvette Prieto in April.
This will be Michael's second marriage, and he has two children from his marriage to Juanita. Another woman tried to claim that her son was fathered by Michael a few years back, but a paternity test disproved her claim.
So will Taj soon be able to refer to Michael as "Dad" and not just as "that guy in the Gatorade ads"? We shall see.
