Miley Cyrus has adopted a serious new attitude toward getting fit and healthy, but is the star — who’s been seen attending Pilates classes numerous times a week — taking the change just a tad too far?
Earlier in the week, Miley sparked anorexia rumors when she proudly flaunted her uber-thin physique. Taking to Twitter, the actress attempted to set the record straight. “For everyone calling me anorexic, I have a gluten and lactose allergy,” she wrote. “It’s not about weight it’s about health. Gluten is crapppp anyway!”
Regardless of Miley’s statements, tongues continue to wag. In a new interview with HollywoodLife.com, weight loss coach Alicia Hunter warns the star not to drop another ounce.
“She definitely shouldn’t lose another pound or she could end up looking way too fragile and downright bony,” Hunter says. “Her collarbone is starting to look way too defined and her arms are becoming very thin.”
In fact, Hunter estimates that the 5’5” star has lost nearly 20 pounds from her formerly 135-pound frame. ”It doesn’t look like she could even pinch a half-inch of fat anywhere on her body.”
The benefits of a healthy diet and exercise can’t be denied. Yet experts claim that going gluten-free can be dangerous if the dieter does not genuinely have an allergy to gluten.
Is Miley in danger of looking scary-skinny? Has she taken her weight loss too far?
