Slow clap for Miley Cyrus, y'all.
Miley has been very vocal about her frustrations with the paparazzi, and she decided to give viewers a taste of what it's like for her, on the other side of those pap photos we see in the tabloids. Miley shared a video on her pheed account, introducing it with, "In reply to the photos of me attempting to take my dogs on a walk while a man I've never seen before harassed me... All for your entertainment I suppose. Hope this is enlightening."
In the video, we are walking down a sidewalk with Miley as a man runs ahead, turning around every so often to take photos of her.
As Miley explains as she walks...
"This is a paparazzi that just jumped out of a handicapped vehicle [who] seems to be running quite fine, doesn't look like he needs a handicapped sticker. Doesn't look very handicapped to me. Yet if I park in a handicap spot because of these people I get reported on in the news. So no one cares about this criminal that's running through a children's neighborhood, driving outrageously while I'm with my three dogs. I've already lost two dogs this year I'm not trying to get another one hit by a car, by this man. [Turns to friend with her] Isn't it fun being filmed while you're on a walk? Never seen this middle-aged man before in my life. You're a 20-year-old woman and you're on a walk..."
The video cuts off there (watch it below), but we get the point. Good for her, though, for taking back some of the power you lose when you have no control over how your image is recorded and broadcast. She’s a rock star!
