Anthony Hopkins played creepy serial slayer Dr. Hannibal Lecter on the big screen, and now Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen will bring him to equally terrifying life on TV.

Mads is set to star on NBC’s Hannibal, an upcoming series centered on the relationship between FBI agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Dr. Lecter. He may head to the dark side once again in 2013’s Thor 2.
