New dad Nick Lachey isn't ashamed that he got kicked out of a Cincinnati Bengals/San Diego Chargers game — but he doesn't want the fight to be misrepresented.
TMZ has video of Nick, a Bengals fan, fighting with a Chargers fan to the point where they had to be removed from Qualcomm Stadium on Sunday.
Nick tweeted after, "Just got kicked out of the chargers stadium and couldn't be prouder! Go Cincy Bengals." He added other tweets, like, "Majority of charger fans were awesome yesterday, thanks for the hospitality! Sadly, there is always one guy that ruins it for everyone..... " and "For the record, i was not kicked out of the chargers game for excessive 'trash talking'. no, that honor belonged to the guy in front of me! ... i simply don't appreciate someone turning around and putting their finger in my face. call me crazy, but that deserved a reaction."
The Chargers fan told TMZ that Nick tried to choke him, and called his wife a "f**king b*tch," after the Chargers fan made a comment about a player lasting longer than Nick's boy band (98 Degrees). Nick's rep denied it, telling TMZ, "This is a gross misrepresentation of what happened. It was nothing but a spirited debate between fans of opposing teams. At no point did Nick say anything derogatory to the man's wife and anything to suggest the contrary is simply untrue."
Why bother insulting someone's wife when you can just insult each other, like mature adults?
