Nicki Minaj was a no-show this weekend at NYC hip-hop radio station Hot 97's Summer Jam concert, after one of the station's DJs dissed her hit single "Starships," calling it "F%$#ing BS." Way harsh.
Nicki, acting under the orders of her label's chief Lil' Wayne, not only pulled out of the lineup mere hours before the show, but also vowed to never work with Hot 97 again, tweeting "The President has spoken. I go above and beyond for my fans. But won't ever go against wayne's word. What he says, goes."
According to TMZ, radio personality Peter Rosenberg (who hosts MTV's "Hip Hop Squares") called in earlier today and claimed that everything with Nicki was cool, but still didn't back down regarding his true feelings about her music (he still thinks "Starships" is "wack and corny"). Not cool Peter!
