Great news, Once Upon a Time fans: According to TVLine, Emilie de Ravin (Belle) has been promoted to series regular for Season 2. We couldn't have asked for better news about our favorite fairy-tale show.

Despite only being in three episodes during Season 1, Emilie made a big impression as Belle, whose Beast, in this version of the tale, is none other than Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle). We were expecting to see her again after their touching reunion in the Season 1 finale, but we weren't sure if Emilie would return for more than a guest-starring role.

Hopefully Emilie's promotion means we'll learn more about what happened to Belle in the fairy-tale world after she left Rumplestiltskin — and, of course, we're looking forward to seeing how Rumplestiltskin and Belle's relationship develops in Storybrooke now that she's out of captivity. Will Belle be willing to stick by Rumplestiltskin's side if the return of magic leads him down a dark path? We're not sure, but we can't wait to find out!

Belle isn't the only character you can expect to see more frequently next season. Meghan Ory (Ruby/Little Red Riding Hood) has also been promoted to series regular, and there are some new characters to look forward to as well.

Where do you hope Belle's storyline goes now that she'll be around more often? Let us know in the comments!
