It's Oscar time, and Katniss Everdeen Jennifer Lawrence was on hand early this morning (5:30 a.m. Pacific Time!), announcing the nominations for the 2012 Academy Awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences' Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif.

So, who will take home Oscar gold? Will it be Hollywood institution Meryl Streep for her uncanny portrayal of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, or Dawson's Creek alum Michelle Williams for her spot-on depiction of America's tragic sweetheart, Marilyn Monroe? Will it be Brad Pitt for his star turn in Moneyball, or George Clooney for his cuckolded Descendants patriarch? Only time (and Academy members) will tell!
