It's the question on every Parks and Recreation fan's mind: Will our determined hero, Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), win the city council position she's been fighting for all season? Between losing her campaign managers over a huge scandal, to being pitted against super-rich Sweetums heir Bobby Newport (Paul Rudd), things are looking pretty grim for Leslie.
But news out of PaleyFest about the Parks Season 4 finale should give fans hope for Knope's sinking campaign...kind of.

Here's the deal: There were actually two finales shot, one in which Leslie wins and one in which she loses.
"For a long time, we didn't know what it was going to be," Amy told TV Guide. And no, the choice was not based on whether or not the show will be renewed — producers have already decided which ending they're going with at this point. Obviously, everyone involved is keeping the decision under lock and key.
One thing is guaranteed, however: The season won't end on a cliffhanger. Win or lose, we will know Leslie's fate by the end of Season 4.
If that's not enough to help you bounce back from the thought of Leslie's dream being crushed, executive producer Mike Schur assured fans that Ben and Leslie's relationship is for keeps. Apparently, the original plan was to have Leslie date a series of men, but once she and Ben got together, everyone realized, "Oh, God. We can't break them up."
Duh! As Amy herself said, "Ben is the love of Leslie's life." At least she'll have an adorable boyfriend to comfort her if (and when) things go wrong.
