Peaches Geldof, 24, the socialite daughter of British rocker Sir Bob Geldof and TV presenter Paula Yates, gave birth to her second child on April 24 — which would've been her late mother's 54th birthday. (Paula died from a drug overdose in 2000.)
Peaches and her husband named their second son Phaedra. She told Hello! magazine, "Tom and I are completely overjoyed to welcome Phaedra into the world." A rep for Peaches added, “Peaches Geldof and Thomas Cohen are delighted to announce the birth of their son on April 24 2013. Both mother and baby are very healthy and well."
Peaches and Tom have a 1-year-old son, Astala. According to the Daily Mail, the name Phaedra is believed to be in honor to an album by Peaches' favorite group, Tangerine Dream.
She comes from a family with unusual names — her sisters are named Pixie, Fifi Trixibelle, and Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily.
Congrats to the growing family! But what do you think of the name Phaedra for a boy? We can't help but think of this Phaedra...
