A certain star got some aca-confusing news.

News broke this week that Pitch Perfect will be getting a sequel, and star Brittany Snow surprisingly said she found out about it on Twitter, according to E! Online.

"I literally found out through Twitter," Brittany admits. "I had my little secrets that people were telling me, but I didn't really know until... somebody tweeted me that it was happening." Crazy!

Brittany was an integral part of the first movie, so you'd think the studio would have run the sequel by her to make sure she's interested before giving it the green light, right?

Could this mean that the sequel will use an entirely different cast? Or is it just too early for the cast to sign on for it yet, considering there isn't even a completed script?

We could not be more excited for a Pitch Perfect sequel, but it definitely wouldn't be the same if people like Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Brittany Snow weren't in it.

The original film was a sleeper success, making $112 million worldwide on only a $17 million budget.

Universal says it plans to release the film in 2015.

So is Brittany worried that she might not be invited to join the new film?

"I hope I'm in it," she says. "Maybe people should rally together to get me in it!"

Say no more, Brittany! C'mon, people  make it known that we need Brittany to be in this movie!

We're aca-serious about this.
