Jenna Bush Hager — daughter of Laura and former President George W. Bush — had a bookish baby shower on April 2 in New York City.
According to People, which has photos from the event, the Today contributor was given dozens of children's books, inscribed with advice from her NBC colleagues. Jenna got the book Goodnight Moon from news anchor Natalie Morales, who said she came up with her own song to go with the bedtime story to keep it from getting boring as she's told it "so many darn times" to her two kids.
Today producer Jackie Levin gave Jenna a different kind of book — Fifty Shades of Gray. Jenna reportedly laughed and looked at her husband, Henry Hager: “That’s baby number two material!"
Jenna said her famous parents have been helping to put the nursery together. Jenna and Henry went for a neutral seafoam-green color because they don't know if they're having a boy or a girl.
The baby is due in early May. Read the full story for more details and photos.
Congrats to the happy couple — and, um, enjoy Fifty Shades!
