Jessica Simpson just enjoyed her second baby shower on Sunday, with presents for her little man-to-be and a menu that included a grilled cheese station for kids and Southern comfort food.
"I’m so excited to have a son,” Jessica told People. “He got all these cute vintage cars and I got a lot of little leather jackets I can’t wait to try out!” Jess's 11-month-old daughter, Maxwell Drew, was at the Tom Sawyer-themed shower and wanted to take some of her little bro's stuff. Jessica grew up with a little sister, Ashlee, but not a brother and she finds that unknown exciting.
On a health front, the Weight Watchers spokesperson said she's been working out three times a week with trainer Harley Pasternak, and the results are showing. Or not showing. “This pregnancy I’m active. I’ve only gained half of what I gained in my first pregnancy." So that's the upside, but she previously told Ellen DeGeneres this pregnancy has been harder in other ways. "Like with Maxwell, I felt amazing. I felt like I could do everything, eat everything. Do whatever I wanted. I had a lot of energy. This time around, I'm like, exhausted, you know, eating Tums. That's my snack of choice."
But at least she's staying active and as healthy as possible this time — and she's so excited for her baby, who is due this summer. People has a photo from the shower (little Maxi is so cute!) and a nearly 3 minute video giving a full tour of the event.
