Kate Middleton, who is expecting a baby with Prince William later this year, did some surprising affordable shopping at a London Topshop this week, according to Us Weekly.
Kate, who's 31, snatched up a flowery maternity dress — with mandarin collar, cross-over neckline, and elastic waist — designed by UK-based clothing company Lovestruck.
The damage? A mere $55! Apparently, just because you live in a palace doesn't mean you have to blow the wad on every shopping trip.
"It's so exciting that the Duchess of Cambridge bought one of my designs," says Erika Shaw, the designer of the dress. "I think it's great that Kate wears high-street brands."
We love that Kate can set fashion trends without breaking the bank.
