Now that Kate Middleton has a baby bump big enough to actually see, it's front and center on the new cover of People magazine.

The Duchess of Cambridge recently topped InStyle's "Most Desired" celebrity wardrobe poll, and that's the focus of the People piece — reviewing Kate's best maternity looks, and interviewing "insiders," designers and royal watchers about her style. "Kate is clearly a very confident, healthy woman who is comfortable in her own skin," Laura Lusuardi, Max Mara's creative director, told People.

Here are some of Kate's "tricks," as previewed in the story:

• "Keep it classic (she stunned in a blue silk Emilia Wickstead dress for a gala at the National Portrait gallery)."

• "Distract from (or accentuate!) the bump with a go-to clutch bag."

• "Don't wear maternity clothes if you don't have to (her non-maternity floral Erdem frock on a visit to a Manchester school also showed off her toned legs)."

That’s not a whole lot to go on, but pick up the mag if you want to read all about Kate’s style choices. And check out the galleries below for some of her best bump looks so far.
