Reese Witherspoon still has a few weeks to go before her third child makes his or her debut, but according to Radar Online, the end of the actress’s pregnancy has had its fair share of complications.
The site reports that Reese — who was rushed to an L.A. hospital Wednesday — will have to spend at least a few more nights under the observation of her doctors. The docs are apparently concerned that Reese’s baby may make an early entrance into the world, so they’re doing everything they can to prevent that from happening.
As a source close to the situation revealed, “Doctors are keen on keeping her from going into an early labor so the baby's development will go to full term.”
And while Reese is reportedly taking the news in stride, her husband (and first-time father) Jim Toth is worried for his wife and “hasn’t left her side.”
“Jim is really worried about the baby. He's a first-time father so this is all really new to him and he just wants everything to be OK,” the source continued.
Here’s hoping Reese and her little bundle are resting comfortably until her due date rolls around!
