While Prince William received a truly royal 30th birthday check from his late mother last week ($16 million!), he and wife Kate Middleton aren't planning on splurging just yet.
Even though Kate's family is in the process of buying a sprawling, 7-bedroom Bucklebury, England estate (costing a mere $7 million), a source tells People Magazine that the royal couple is not being tapped to help. Wondering why aren't they spreading the wealth?
Perhaps the two lovebirds want to start a family first before deciding what to do with the money. And as for current living arrangements for themselves, things aren't too shabby: "They have two residences in Wales and Kensington Palace, and that is not about to change," the source says.
Um, any property that comes with the description of "palace" is fine by us!
