Reese Witherspoon may have done something stupid earlier this week, but a certain sexy singer thinks she handled herself admirably after the fact.
Reese and crooner Michael Buble recently recorded a duet of the song "Something Stupid," and he is now saying he's impressed with how she dealt with things after her arrest.
"I thought that she just showed graciousness and class and great dignity," Michael said on April 28. "I hope that when I make mistakes, I come back the same way."
"I'm sure she wishes she could go back, but the truth is, she's got a beautiful family and beautiful kids, and I think that's what's most important for her," he continues.
Her handling of the situation — including her apology — just proves that she is "a kind, humble, down-to-earth, real girl," he says.
"Everyone makes mistakes," Michael continues. "It's just a matter of, really, how you come back from 'em."
Reese and husband Jim Toth were arrested on April 19. Jim was charged with a DUI, while Reese was cited for disorderly conduct.
Following the incident, Reese owned up to her mistakes and fulfilled her work duties by attending an event for her new film, Mud. She was back on the set of another film this week.
We had previously known that Reese was the first person whom Michael Buble told about his wife's pregnancy, so we can understand why he feels close to her. Michael's wife, Luisana, is expecting a baby later this year.
If Michael Buble can forgive Reese and her husband, we suppose we all can.
