The lyrics in question: “Don’t f*** with my old b**** it’s like a bad fur. Every industry n**** done had her. Trick or treat like a pumpkin just to smash her, B**** breaking codes, but I’m the password.”
Rihanna then tweeted, “Aw, poor dat #neaux1currrrr” (neaux1currrr = no one cares).
Chris reportedly unfollowed her soon after, tweeting, “Assumptions! I didn't say any names so if u took offense to it then its something you feel guilty about.”
Chris was charged with assault back in 2009 after getting physical with Rihanna before that year’s Grammy Awards. Up until now, Rihanna hadn’t completely cut Chris out of her life, much to the surprise of her fans. In early 2012, she invited him to collaborate on her risqué single “Birthday Cake,” and she reciprocated by appearing on his track “Turn Up the Music.” RiRi shrugged off the ensuing uproar, saying, “People end up wasting their time on the blogs or whatever, ranting away, and that’s all right. Because tomorrow I’m still going to be the same person. I’m still going to do what I want to do.”
And now that involves dropping him like it’s hot... on Twitter.
Between her upcoming American Idol season finale performance and burgeoning movie career, RiRi has way more to care about than a silly remix.
