Here’s today’s celebrity BFF news: Rihanna’s music video for “We Found Love” hasn’t found itself a home on French daytime TV. THR reports that the boundary-pushing vid will only play after 10 p.m. because of its “prounounced suggestive” scenes and the “self-destructive behavior” it contains. With its violence and extensive drug use, we can’t say we’re shocked by their decision.

While that’s a blow to Rihanna, her bestie Katy Perry received some exciting news. Film producer Harvey Weinstein revealed to E! Online that he wants to bring My Week With Marilyn to Broadway, and his first choice to play the blonde icon would be none other than pop idol Katy.

"If the movie works, I would try to make it a musical,” says Weinstein. “I would go to Katy first... I think she would be amazing." Yay! We’re totally on-board with this idea! Not only does Katy have the curves, she’s obviously got the pipes. We’re not sure what she’d look like in platinum blond curls, though — we prefer her in pink!
