It’s hard to know who or what to trust when it comes to the whole Snow White cheating scandal. The rumors have really been tripping over themselves in the past week — and here are two more.

Entertainment Tonight reported Tuesday that Robert Pattinson had canceled an upcoming U.S. press appearance to promote his film Cosmopolis. What appearance and when? Not noted. The report was framed as Rob not being ready to face the media after his Twilight girlfriend Kristen Stewart apologized for her “indiscretion” with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.

ET added that there was no word yet on whether Rob would appear at the Cosmopolis premiere in New York City on August 13.

However, a rep for Rob told Gossip Cop it's all hooey. “Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting,” the rep told Gossip Cop. “No confirmed engagements have been canceled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate.” Gossip Cop also previously attacked rumors that Kristen and Rupert had some kind of scandalous affair, alleging that they just “kissed passionately.”

E! News also quoted the rep’s “no confirmed engagements have been canceled" statement. According to E!, the film’s studio "apparently had tentatively scheduled a press junket in L.A. for the movie over the Aug. 10 weekend, but the plans have now been scrapped, according to a studio rep." So … based on that, a press engagement has been canceled, but it may not have had anything to do with Rob.

What else has Rob been doing? According to Us Weekly’s new cover story, Rob has been hanging out at Reese Witherspoon’s ranch in Ojai, California, which she reportedly offered her Water for Elephants co-star to get away from it all. One of Us’s sources claims that Rob is currently “a total mess … He’s questioning everything.”

Except, Cosmopolis honchos must hope, plans to still promote the film.
