This man can do no wrong. We’re not ashamed to admit we’re in Crazy, Stupid, Love with him, and we don’t care who knows it.

When Ryan Gosling isn’t busy taking his shirt off on screen, saving random strangers’ lives, or being an avid environmentalist, the actor and hottie extraordinaire  is doing his part to help the Congo.

Today, May 1, the six-pack sweetheart shared a byline in The Huffington Post with John Prendergast, co-founder of the Enough Project, to discuss the deteriorating conditions in the Congo.

The two activists wrote about their trip to the Congo last Thanksgiving and shared their friend Fidel Bafilemba’s video profile.

“One of our favorite features of this video is that we're not in it,” the two men wrote.

The blog post supported the Enough Project and its video series, I Am Congo. Rather than being a direct call to action, Ryan and John simply recommended that readers become as informed as possible on the daily struggles of the Congolese.

It’s nice to see the powerful (and gorgeous!) using their pull to help others, but we would expect nothing less from the talented Mr. Gosling.

What do you think of Ryan’s new cause? Comment below!
