Kristin Chenoweth is a firecracker, but a tiny one — so when the actress got hit by a piece of falling equipment on the set of The Good Wife back in July, we worried.

Earlier this month she released a statement cutting her stint on the show short: "It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to The Good Wife at this time."

However, this is a new Bat time and a new Bat channel. The actress tweeted on Friday, "I was able to go back a shoot a short scene with Alan Cumming on The Good Wife. #blessing!"

Josh Charles, who plays Will Gardner on The Good Wife and is directing her return episode, tweeted Friday, "Having @KChenoweth back with us on set today was absolutely the highlight of my day. Her talent, charm and warmth was inspiring."

Aww! Kristin will play a hard-hitting reporter on the September 30 Season 4 premiere. Josh is said to be directing the sixth episode, set to air sometime in November, so that's probably when we’ll see Kristin’s return appearance.

Heal fast, lady!
