Good luck, Ben Foster!

The star of Six Feet Under, 3:10 to Yuma, and The Messenger has been announced as Shia LaBeouf's replacement in the Broadway play, Orphans. According to the New York Times, Ben had previously auditioned for the role, which ultimately went to Shia. But now Shia's name is in headlines across the web for his "creative differences" in a "disagreeable situation" with, apparently, both the director, Daniel Sullivan, and Shia's co-star, Alec Baldwin.

Shia, Alec and the director exchanged e-mails, which Shia decided to share on Twitter. Shia also shared his reaction to the casting of Ben Foster in his old role:

So at least Ben has some support as he enters a challenging situation. It's his first play as a professional actor (same as Shia). He's never worked with Alec before. And he starts rehearsals tomorrow. Have fun, man!
