As Broadway star Matthew Broderick took the stage once more for the opening night of Nice Work If You Can Get It, it was his son, James Wilkie Broderick, who stole the show.

Attending the April 24 performance with his mother Sarah Jessica Parker, James made his own fashion statement in a white tuxedo with black bow tie and handkerchief.

But the 9-year-old doesn't seem to be a big fan of his parents’ PDA. When they leaned in for a smooch, poor James was trapped in-between the celebrity spouses, looking thoroughly grossed out.

Matthew plays Jimmy Winter in the Gershwin musical and his love interest in the show is played by Kelli O’Hara, who had a small part in SJP’s Sex and the City 2.

James —  who has two younger twin sisters, Marion and Tabitha —  has attended multiple red carpet events, including both premieres of the final two Harry Potter films, and seems to enjoy being the center of attention.
