Update: A medical examiner has confirmed that Storage Wars star Mark Balelo took his own life by inhaling exhaust fumes, according to The Wrap.

Original story: Storage Wars star Mark Balelo, age 40, took his own life through carbon monoxide poisoning on Monday, TMZ reports. He was found dead in his car in Simi Valley, CA, just two days after he was arrested for a drug-related offense.

Sources told the site that when Mark got out of jail he was so upset he asked his fiancee to come over because he feared he might hurt himself. They reportedly met at his office on Sunday, and after a nap he appeared to feel better. She left him Sunday night and one of his employees reportedly found him Monday morning.

An autopsy is scheduled for today. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mark appeared on several episodes of A&E's Storage Wars over the past few seasons and often showed up with large amounts of money to easily outbid his rivals.
