There’s a lot of stuff that Taylor Swift never does. Like, ever.

Despite rumors out there about her chasing boys — there was one about her going after Ed Sheeran, a crazy one about Justin Bieber, plus an even crazier one about her wanting Harry Styles back — Taylor told Elle that’s not her style.

"I'm sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say I'm chasing somebody who doesn't like me as much as I like him — people love that angle on me," Tay said in the March 2013 issue (via Us Weekly). "They're like 'Oh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys.' I never chase boys. They don't like it!'"

They also don’t like when you write songs about them after a breakup, but never mind. She’s not the only one who does it. Taylor feels better when she writes songs about her relationships, so she can understand the pain. But she isn’t exactly the aggressive type in person. "I don't think I've ever yelled at an ex-boyfriend," she said. "Ever. I'm not a yeller. I'm not a fit thrower. If something is done, it's done."

In the magazine, she also said she was programmed to be semi-insecure all the time starting in middle school when she didn’t fit in and discovered that thing called rejection. Middle school was horrible to all of us, wasn’t it? Tay may still be insecure, but she handles the rumor mill pretty well — and often turns it to her own advantage. Why not?
