Filming on The Walking Dead Season 4 reportedly starts May 6 in Georgia, but it looks like the pieces are already in place, with production now underway.
According to ComicBook.com, several cast and crew members arrived in Georgia on April 23, and Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) was reportedly spotted in Peachtree City, GA. Norman also tweeted about driving to Georgia with his awesome black cat (named Eye in the Dark) and shared this post featuring the little guy in his car on April 23:
Executive producer/comic book writer Robert Kirkman also shared this tweet, showing the writers hard at work ... eating:
New showrunner Scott Gimple shared a similar photo on April 24, so we know the two biggest guns of Season 4 are now firing off new scripts (when they're not firing off nice tweets to the people who made their lunch). That's happening in the L.A. area at this point, so it's not like they are quite in Georgia, but they'll probably be back there very soon. The writers/producers have already worked on a bunch of episodes, which is how we got most of these Season 4 spoilers.
There's no set premiere date for The Walking Dead Season 4 yet, but it's supposedly in October again, so we're just clearing every Sunday until further notice!
